Taking the air conditioning system for villas as an example, analyses the initial investment and total annual costs of the four systems of GSHP, cooling water source heat pump, air source heat pump and surface water source heat pump based on the experiential data of GSHP. Compares the fee index of the four systems. The results show that the initial investment and fee index of cooling water systems are the least, and cooling water system is the most economical system. While the total annual cost of GSHP is the least but the initial investment and the fee index are the highest. The GSHP system is less acceptable for economical reasons in Guangzhou.
